2014 Safety in Schools Industry Reception

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2014 Industry Reception on September 18. Our team had a wonderful time speaking with various guests about our program and hearing from Evan Woolley, Deputy Mayor/Councillor for Ward 8, Wayne Spiers of SafetyBoss, students from Western Canada High School who have used our program and one of our dear friends and biggest supporters, Liza Bennett, Off Campus Education Coordinator for Western Canada High School.

We cannot thank our friends at Canadian Pacific enough for contributing the space, refreshments and complimentary train tours, which were all hits among our guests.

If You See Something, Say Something!

Our Keynote Speaker, Candace Carnahan, captivated the audience in a meaningful way. Her message, “See Something, Say Something”, was well received and will certainly stay with attendees as we all get back to our day-to-day lives. Candace ended her address with her “See Something, Say Something” cheer, which the audience had a lot of fun participating in. Check out the video below!
